Steam Deck: Verified as of Patch 1.0.11
Valve moved How to Fish from Playable to Steam Deck Verified with Patch 1.0.11. The earlier Playable rating cited small in-game text on the Deck screen; no UI scale slider has been documented, so use FSR or sharpness if you already run those on other games.
Launch-week handheld testing reported about 60 FPS on the default high preset with power draw under roughly 16W. Default controller configuration is fully accessible and Deck glyphs show; the minimum-locked-FPS option from Patch 1.0.5 (30 FPS) is what to cap when you play for battery.
Saves stay in the Windows-style LocalLow folder inside the Proton prefix. Preserve the whole folder; do not delete random folders because a video named them. Verified describes the Deck experience; desktop Linux still runs the Windows build through Steam’s compatibility tool.
